Incoming Covered Bridge!

I've never played a spruce but I do have redwood on the Iriguchi and that should provide a good apples-to-pears comparison based on the the tuning they will both be sporting (more on that later). I'm also curious to see how it compares to WRC but that's on the baritone so not quite as close a comparison.

Looks wonderful Jim!

I am excited for you. CONGRATS! :)

It is refreshing to see a person of your caliber (and I mean that sincerely and respectfully) recognizing and appreciating the wonderful woods that are around us for both their beauty and their musical qualities. Perry and Terry are amazing builders. I noticed it has PEGHEDS for tuners to keep it light on the head, and strung through the body to transmit the sound with a small bridge and no messy knots on the outside. The curly maple binding certainly adds beauty. Are the edges rounded over rather than sharp L as on most instruments?

Yes Bill the edges do have a slight round over we think it makes for a nice feel. And thank you for the kind words
