    Default NUBD: Kala Rumbler...

    NUBD: New Ukulele Bass Day...

    So...I was looking to get an 8-string concert ukulele, but when a deal kind of fell through, I was looking at a UBass. Been wanting a UBass for a while too, since I used to "play" bass back in High School.

    Well, found a smokin' deal on ebay and well...a box showed up on my porch today, wish I knew how to play it! ;-D

    Congratulations! If you love to noodle, you love the bass. More and more ukers seem to be taking it up. Tammy (wife) loves hers, she's a great noodler, and her bassing sounds better every day.

    Good for you. If you find the Rumbler strings to be sticky, I suggest changing them to Road Toad Pahoehoe, very smooth but do take a long time to stretch.
