Hello all!

I have an interesting question for the do-it-yourselfers out there.

I'm going to be putting together a Ubass from Kala parts however I'll be adding a droptop to the body, which of course will cover any holes pre drilled by the factory.

What I would like to do instead of the LR Baggs system Kala uses is install a graphtech ghost bridge with the acousta-phonic pre-amp.

Have any of you out there used a similar style bridge (piezo in saddles) on any uke bass builds?

Main reason I ask is because the one variable I really cant account for without building the thing is whether or not there will be enough string tension on the saddles to produce enough output.

Also: if any moderators see this I posted this in the "bass" section a moment ago, not seeing this section, SORRY! I'm new!
