I have some Grover geared tuners on one of my ukes and would like to replace the black knobs with some cream/pearloid/white ones. Is there a cheap way to do this? Replacement ones seem expensive and Im not sure which ones would fit those tuners.

Anyone like to swap or know a cheap way I can do this?

Thanks!

If you see a screw in the top of the knobs, they can be replaced, but you have to be sure to get an exact match. On my bass ukes I've changed out my tuners that look the same, but when I tried to swap the knobs from black to chrome, I discovered the hole and the screw length were different. Try doing a web search for Grover replacement knobs. More than likely the only inexpensive ones will come directly from China, which could take a few weeks to arrive.

Too bad you only have 4. I have a mandola with 8 pearloid knobs on Grover 309 tuners (assuming they're interchangeable with yours), and I'd love to have black ones instead - they would go much better with the instrument.
