OK who has a 6 or 8 string uke tucked away collecting dust and ready to part with it?
Let me know what you have. I'm in the market for one or the other, depending what it is.

Might have an old Kamaka 8 string koa to part with maybe $800, also older Mahogany Mele 6 string maybe $400

Just got rid of my Pono 6 string mahogany tenor for 1/4 of your budget

Phil-that's my luck. Day late and a dollar short! Pono would have worked fine. I have owned several of them in the past

By the way, for around $289 you can get the Ohana TK70-8 all solid tenor. The solid spruce topped solid mahogany model sounds better than a few that cost 2-3 times that much....Amazing chime for that kind of money, loud, great projection. In the process of getting the taropatch, recently missed the string used for $199 on ebay. Maybe someone here has one. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=ohana+8+string&qpvt=ohana+8+string&FORM=VDRE

We have the Ohana 5 string now. Great little uke. I'm going to see what people come up with fornow. After the weekend may justnorderna Kamaka or the cheap Kala 8 string.
