Congratulations 4G, I'm with you on the Tortoise Shell binding, it's a very cool feature.
What a nice package to receive, congrats!
Yes I have them strung with Aquila Red ( the B and E)
The bass are wound Aquila that came with the uke
It really brighten up the voice
I also have K&K pick up installed.
Camsuke ( Campbell) sent me a pre AMP. It works really really well!
Congratulations on your new uke!
Very, very nice. I like Kalas, and I like baritones. I hope it's DGBE, and I hope you keep it that way.![]()
I am glad you like your Kala Baritone. I have the same model and love it. I was interested in your thought on the K&K pickup. I would like to put one in mine and I value your feedback
Sweet! Congrats and enjoy your baritone!
More an appreciator of the ukulele than a true player. My motto is: "Don't matter how good it ring if it ain't got some bling."

Congratulations! Love the Tortoiseshell binding against the Mahogany. And it's a testament from Dave calling this Solid-Mahogany Kala Baritone model "excellent sounding", that's a reassurance you can take to the bank!
Congrats! I have the tenor, it prefers strings on the mellower side as do many solid mahogany ukes. I polished the tortoise with a little Flitz.
