Taiwanese ukulele in akacia koa

Hello, has anybody tried these Taiwanese made ukuleles in solid akacia koa?
It looks like it was made with "new thoughts in mind" at least concerning its looks.
I wonder about build quality and sound properties?
By the way, is it really made in solid wood, as the seller claims?!
