    Default Zyliss Vice Fix

As I said on another thread I didnt like the Zyliss vice crank handle when used on a bench like mine that goes wall to wall with no bench ends.
So I came up with this simple idea.

If you can believe that moving images and sound, can fly through empty space across the universe and be seen and heard on a box in your living room ?.. then you can believe in anything.

Nice fix Ken. Don't the clamps get in the way that way up?.
    Kind Regards

Very nice mate. Now that I think about it, I remember that my Zyliss vise has a quick release button on the jaw that moves so I wouldn't have the problem if my bench was as big and manly as yours.

Where did you source the threaded piece? I guess you made it from a solid lump of aluminium but maybe you found it somewhere this time.

No threads ..just a friction push fit.

You have a first iteration of the Zyliss vice Ken. As Sven correctly has identified, later models have a quick release nut
