I played several Kimos at Hale Ukulele in San Diego a couple of weeks ago. I was so impressed that I contacted Hank to get on his build schedule. The tone was beautiful and the intonation superb. Hale carries several of the K brands as well as Ponos and others, and I played them all that day. But none had the tone and intonation of the Kimos, to my ears. I wasn't planning on that price range but once I played it, there was no going back. They are stunners visually too.
