So, PoisonDart and I thought it would be cool to start a monthly uke jam in Chicago.

Every third Sunday of the month at Welles Park in Lincoln Square at 1:00PM. I really like the Gazebo for a meeting point. It's huge, you can't miss it.

Bring a chair if you don't want to sit down on the concrete! Maybe there's a better place to meet. We can figure that out as we iron the wrinkles...

It was fun! It was only me and PoisonDart, but that's okay. We had to move from the gazebo because some folks were shooting a movie, so we went over to the fountain over by Cafe Selmarie. We rocked it out! We played mostly blues stuff.
 
Hey - this sounds like it just might work for me!!! I'll keep you posted...is there any way we could move the Father's Day date? What about a week later - just for that month?

That meeting place looks beautiful too!
 
We planned to do the saturday directly before Fathers day, but nothing is written in stone as far as I'm concerned.
 
Lisa, what's better for you? Saturday, June 20th or Sunday, June 28th?
