Default Flea at 14,000 feet !

I came across a documentary called "Mile...Mile and a Half" this morning that was pretty awesome. It follows the story of a group of hikers traversing the John Muir Trail way up in the Sierras in California. They started out with a group of four people and kept on adding folks they befriended along the way. Very intense climbs, lots of snow, river crossings, etc. on a 200+ mile trip.

One of the guys they met had a Flea ukulele and his buddy had a toy xylophone! They made some good music for everybody, including playing on the top of Mount Whitney, over 14,000 feet in elevation.

Do you need gloves at that height. Lived in South Florida since 1953. Ignorant of what clothing is needed that high or cold. We put on sweaters in the 60's.
