    Ken - have a word with Rob Collins at Tinguitar - he strings all his models with Seaguar Blue Label. Think he uses 30,40,50,60 on sopranos.

    Sven recomended I use 80lb for the C string but the Seaguar was a bit pricey.
    I did more research and came up with this on amazon..This is just the job and the price is better than the others i've found with free postage in the UK...and it only took 3 days to arrive.

    I've bought a couple of sets of these off ebay. I like them, and they're cheap so worth a try. If you don't like them you're only wasting a few pounds:-

    I bought 100 sets like those from Taiwan some time back..claimed to be Aquila Nylgut.. all sounded good but who knows what they are really?
