I agree entirely on the tuning. My Kala Pocket Uke is tuned cFAD and sounds pretty good; certainly wouldn't want it any higher.
 
Andy will sell these however you like them. To be fair - he sent this to me for review in F tuning as he knows I prefer that!

It’s really not hard to transpose - yet people get worried by it. I think it’s what puts people off the baritone in many cases. But if you can play in C tuning you already know the shapes.

This guide I wrote explains that, with a circle of fifths and an ability to count, switching to a different relative key is dead easy.

Cheers for reviewing my lacewood piccolo Barry,much appreciated.
So far I've made 30 piccolo ukes and only 2 have been tuned to f,all the other customers wanted c tuning one octave higher.
