I'm considering buying an Agile Uke AL Uke HSB Flame, which was suggested on uu but I can't find a single review on it. Anyone have any experience with it or reviews?

If so, I too have never seen a review on this either. I noticed that Agile electric concert uke (but in a wine red color at first) on the Rondo site about 9 months ago for the first time.

I do have one of the 'Agile' Les Paul styled electric guitars and it is as nice as my real Gibson Les Paul that cost me about 5x as much,

I also have both an acoustic uke bass, and solid-body uke bass in their 'Hadean' brand, both of which are very nice to play.

I would think that this steel-string electric uke would be a much nicer instrument than the Vorson tenor electric ukes. I have one of the Vorson, and had nothing but problems with it. I may take off the neck and put a custom 22" neck on it for use as a sort of 'Irish' tenor guitar tuned in fifths as GDAE.

If I had it to do over, I would have gotten the Agile model, but they were not available like 2 yrs ago when I bought the Vorson.

I agree with Booli (we tend to do that a lot), my experience with Rondo instruments is that Kurt the owner makes good choices, and being that they've been in business for a long time with instruments that get good reviews, and that they have a very good return policy, I would say go for it.

8 tenor cutaway ukes, 3 acoustic bass ukes, 8 solid body bass ukes, 8 mini electric bass guitars

I aso had a Vorson with which I was not enamored, plus I found I had no use for a steel string ukulele, so I sold it. The Agile just from the photos looks like it's better configured.

Check it out on their site; http://www.rondomusic.com/returns.html.

Also, they run out of their popular models quickly, so if it's not showing on their web site, it's not available currently.

What Mike Said ^^^

Anyway, like Mike said, the inventory at Rondo changes often and if there is no WINE RED version on their Uke page here http://www.rondomusic.com/bluegrassfolk.html then it is not in stock in that color at this time.
