Default Mixer, preamp, transducer questions by a newbie to such things... HELP!

I am going to use a Dean Markey transducer pickup on the soundboard of my Recording King's soundboard. The transducer is passive so I need a preamp, right?

QUESTION 1-- Can anyone recommend a simple, easily portable 3 or 4 channel mixer?

QUESTION 2- If I am using a mixer, will I also need a preamp for my uke's passive transducer pickup, or will the mixer make a separate preamp unnecessary?

We have 3 mixers. With all three of those, there are pre-amps only on the mic inputs. You should find yourself a pre-amp for your uke. The pre-amps we own are out of production L.R. Baggs. Someone else who has been looking into the issue lately can give you ideas for current mixers and pre-amps.

One of our mixers-Newer versions, (not this one), have USB ins/outs

Here's some photos of my bands setup using three vocal microphones, one U-Bass through a Behringer BDI21, an acoustic electric guitar through a Behringer ADI21, an 'ukulele through a Behringer ADI21 and my 'ukulele through an LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI all mixed through a Behringer Xenix 1002B mixer through a Bose S1 Pro. This entire system can be run on AC or batteries!:

I have a six channel mixer, Yamaha MG06X, when I bring my Carvin MB15, and a Pyle Pro PAD10MXU Mini 2/3 channel mixer when I use my Phil Jones Double Four. I use them with Alesis MicLink Wireless mic system, which all work very well together.

8 tenor cutaway ukes, 3 acoustic bass ukes, 8 solid body bass ukes, 7 mini electric bass guitars
