She was going to try? No, not that I'm aware. She's still doing IT at the assisted living place (a couple of them now, I think - there was a merger).

Nordmanns are okay - we prefer noble fir, but a Nordmann with good shape has subbed for the nobles once or twice.
We were too late this year for the fancy firs.
Oregon has had a Christmas tree shortage the last couple of years. I think they over-harvested a couple years ago and it's taking some time for the new trees to get big enough. Last year was really bad - high prices and poor selection. We found a farm this year that has great trees in our size range (10 - 12 feet) - last year we couldn't find any that size and ended up spending a fortune on one at a garden center.
I thought orange was the original.
Probably not a senior portion for the turkey wing. Pretty much all I order these days.
I suppose that would be easier to wrap in foil.

Nobles aren't fancy around these here parts.
Lemon Lime but orange was added the next year. So basically yeah, lemon lime and orange.
My google-fu says it came out in 1965.
