I like lumps and skins! Gasp! I use red potatoes. Besides butter and cream my mashed potatoes have lots of chopped garlic.
Or roast a clove of garlic and mash them in.

I'm completely lost on this one.
In my old age I've backed off on bombarding everything with garlic like I used to. I prefer a nice, subtle flavor unless it's the scampi from Giovanni's.
Sigh. You've become a bland-tongued old guy.
. . . and actually, I've discovered the real taste of so many things.
(not all good though)
