In Hilo we got a Chevy HHR.
A Caliber IS a roach, so I totally get the infestation. But who wants a PT Cruiser no matter how clean and new?
    Why me?

    The car saga gets better...
While I was on TheBus to work, Nanilei texted me with a photo of the instrument panel on the Mini.
"Drive train problem, drive moderately and service the vehicle as soon as possible."
So I got off TheBus as I was near Enterprise in Waipahu and told her to bring the car.
Of course the message self-cleared by the time.she arrived and the car seemed fine. So I drove to work and she drove home. She drove to Waimanalo and picked up her step mom, they went to lunch, then picked me up from work. The car was smoking a bit and said "engine oil at minimum level, please add one quart of oil immediately."
    So I called Enterprise.
They said the car had just been serviced (oil change) this morning. I did not see any leaks.
So we said we were going to eat nearby and they agreed to swap cars.
When we arrived at the restaurant I saw wisps of smoke under the hood so I opened it.
The oil filler cap was missing.
Oil all over the top of the engine cover and underside of the hood. I called them to let them know.
So a tow truck arrived toting a new Mini and took ours away.
    Crazy!
