My awesome husband picked up thos banjolele at a garage sale today. All I’ve done is take off the strings and head and clean it. And I ordered strings, cheapish tuners, and a cheapish bridge. I can’t wait to get it set. The frets look pretty even. I sure hope they are becaue fretwork is a little beyond me. I plan on gluing the crack on the back with wood glue (right?).

Anything else I ought to do while I wait for the parts to arrive?

Learn some songs *really* well! When I inherited an old family banjo uke (Stromberg-Voisinet), I was astounded at how loud it played. So my advice is to find some songs you like that lend themselves to the instrument's anticipated sound and learn 'em really well because every mistake you make will come out with a boom!

Nice! Good luck getting it all together and maybe researching what it is for fun.
