I'm pleased to join the UU community. I have played ukulele for about 3 years now, guitar for over 50 and I also play piano. I have had UAS for a while and have several ukes including a Godin Multiuke, a Kanile'a K1T, a Martin T1K, an Ohana pineapple concert, a Kala baritone, a Kala tenor and a Waterman. I currently have a Vorson T-type electric on order just for fun. I consider myself an advanced player and I prefer low G tenors. So far my favourite strings are the GHS Chee/Maisel-curated low G set with an unwound G though I have tried several brands. My Godin Multiuke is my favourite uke, mostly because of the radiused fretboard which I find very comfortable to play. When I play for myself (most of the time) I don't bother plugging in but sometimes it's fun to cut loose with some pedals and effects. I expect there is lots to learn here with so many expert players so I'm really looking forward to the journey. Hopefully I can also contribute a little.
