For sale due to downsizing my home a Pono Pro Classic slot head radius fretboard Tenor.
Excellent to as-new condition, I am the original owner bought new from Mim’s Ukes so you know it has one of the best set-ups in the business.
Exquisitely figured Macassar Ebony back, sides, fretboard, bridge and headplate. Gorgeous Cedar top.
Top is pristine no marks at all, as are the sides and headstock.
A couple of the lightest superficial marks in the very surface gloss finish on the back that are undetectable except in direct light when held at the proper angle; nothing into the finish or the wood.
Extremely comfortable neck carve with excellent playability.
This ukulele’s tone compares exceptionally well with my high end American built Cedar top ukuleles.
A Custom Mya-Moe, Custom Compass Rose and Custom KoAloha are surprisingly comparable in tone to the Pono which is still strung with the stock strings that only have a few hours play time as does the ukulele.
