Just a quick cellphone video of this vintage, pre-1980 Bruko soprano I received recently. This is just into my Android cellphone, which is about 12" in front of me. It is a beautifully made uke, love the flamey maple on the headstock. The sound is fuller than the other 2 newer Bruko sopranos I've tried. Very clear on the string separation, still a bit brighter than most mahogany sops I've played, but not as full sounding/middy as a vintage Martin or a Kiwaya sop. Definitely richer and less plinky/banjoey than the other 2 Brukos I've tried, with good volume. Very good for fingerstyle and light strumming, less so for hard strumming, IMO, at least for my style. Strung with Worth Browns.
