WTB: Kala Parquetry model

I don't need another tenor. I don't need another uke. I don't even play well enough to justify the nicer ukes I already own.

But I want a Kala Elite Parquetry model. I don't know why. I doubt it is the best sounding Koa wood on the market, I'm not even sure if it is pretty good sounding. But I want one.

Anyone have a used Kala Parquetry for sale? List price was about $2199 then Kala dropped the list price down to $1599.

Then Kala discontinued the model completely. I think I shed a tear that day

Never heard of it, but it looks cool! Using leftover scraps of wood is a good idea. I'd just be afraid that my playing would be more disjointed than usual

I’d probably be a little hesitant about the second based on its location in Singapore...but it would be more than $800 cheaper...

I would be happy with a used one.

$1355 is reasonable but I'm unsure about buying from Singapore.
The first price is several hundred dollars OVER the price listed of $1599, that is posted on Kala's website :wtf:

Buying from Singapore is a lot safer comparing to buying and shipping from other countries in Asia !

Hoping to find one in North America.

Singapore may be a less risky place to buy from than other parts of Asia but I'd really like to avoid buying from someone/somewhere that I am very unsure about.
