Owner says this is a Kent, looks like a baritone size to me...anyone know anything about these?

Difficult... There seem to have been multiple Kent brands in ukuleles:
- one connected to Beugeleisen and Jacobson in NY, 1950-1960s (B&J folded in 1975), not sure where it was produced (but by the looks, perhaps Harmony in Chicago)
- one made in Japan, in the same time period and perhaps even a bit longer, not clear who was the distributor
- but it's also used on a banjolele made by Musima (DDR, so 1960s-1970s), again not clear on who's orders or through which wholesale channel
- Fletcher, Coppock and Newman in London (1965-1974) and later Tonbridge (1974-2001) also used the brand name, probably on ukuleles produced in Japan

There is a label inside the soundhole, but it's not clear on your photograph. It does look like a baritone size, judging the proportions.
