Got my second one done. This one came out better (and only took me 6 weeks, compared to 5 months for #1). I refined the design a bit - enlarged the lower bout, as well as enlarged the headstock.
Plus I used better wood -
Top: Western Red Cedar
Back, sides, fretboard, bridge: Walnut
Neck: Cherry.
When I first strung it up, it was real punchy and mid-rangey, and sort of muddy. After a few days, the muddiness is going away and it's opening up. Still real punchy.

Note the extra grafts in the back... it's actually a four-piece back (didn't have walnut wide enough.) . Worked out nicely.
This time, some sound/video samples (not great sound quality, but hopefully the uke sound comes through)
