Boxmoor (Hemel Hempstead) Ukulele Day: Saturday 23rd June

The second annual Boxmoor Ukulele Festival, hosted by The Fishery Wharf Cafe which is at Fishery Road, Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead, Herts HP1 1NA

There's the cream of the local ukulele groups and bands during the free afternoon event (although we will be taking a bucket collection on behalf of DENS - the local charity for homeless). From 12.00 to 18.00

And a top-class line-up for the evening's ticketed event:
- classic rock from The Mad Axe Murderers at 18.30
- ukulele wizardry and bonhomie from Phil Doleman at 19.30
- madcap mayhem from The Hot Potato Syncopators at 20.30.

And the wonderful Phil Doleman will be doing one of his fantastic workshops during the afternoon.

Brilliant day! Wonderful sets from The Hot Taters, Phil D, The Mad Axe Murderers and all the local acts. And we raised just over £500 for DENS, the local charity for the homeless.
