Are there any guitar stores that offer the same type of service with detailed setups like TheUkuleleSite? Thanks

Gryphon strings has a highly reputed full service workshop inhouse and can accommodate any requests.

You might give TheUkuleleSite a call about Pono guitars and other options that they may offer.

Elderly Instruments, in Michigan, comes to mind.
Yeah I'll second that. They did a great job on my guilele setup after I asked for a lower than normal action setup. I like closer to 2.5mm instead of over 3mm which was standard on this model. And this was on a $140 guitar. I offered to pay extra for the extra service but they wouldn't take it, just did it.

These guys are more or less local for me - nice shop, they do lots of luthier work in a building right across the street. I bought my Waterloo WL-S there - they carry some high end brands, and Martin, Eastman, Guild...I've even seen some Collings Ukes there as well.

They do some video demonstrations, too - this is the actual Waterloo I purchased from them, being played by one of their salesmen.

Congratulations on the new Waterloo. I have played that model, it is wonderful and I am sure you will really enjoy it. Love the old time styling too, very cool:cool:

Thanks ... but I bought it last August ;)

It's an amazing guitar, very lightly built and responsive. With the cherry b&s, spruce top and ladder bracing it has a nice vintage tone that's well suited to my fingerpicking style.

I have been quite happy with the service at Sweetwater. They are very responsive, and even emailed me a zip file of professional photos of the guitar I just bought from them.
