My wife got me a U-Bass 2 years ago and I am having a Blast!
She sings and plays uke and i've joined her in a local Uke Jam.

In fact, it was our uke jam leader who recommended this site. I am here to see what folks are doing, uke-wise, and for a source of songs.

If any of you find yourselves in Raleigh, NC on the First or Third Thursday of the month, join us at the Church of the Nativity. We play from 7:00-9:00pm.

The last Tuesday of every month, we also meet in Downtown Raleigh at Palagic Bottle Shop.

check it out on FB: Raleigh Uke Jam.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place for knowledge and information. I'm sort of the resident bass uke player here. I started playing bass uke 4 years ago with The CC Strummers out of the Culver City Senior Center and in that time I've accumulated 19 basses. We meet twice a week, which allows me to rotate through them easily.

There is a specific Bass forum, but I tend to use the Uke Talk section most of the time.

8 tenor cutaway ukes, 3 acoustic bass ukes, 8 solid body bass ukes, 7 mini electric bass guitars

• Donate to The Ukulele Kids Club, they provide ukuleles to children's hospital music therapy programs. http://www.theukc.org

Welcome, Dennis and Susan! Glad you're part of the hive. Love hearing both of you at the jams and getting to know you, too.

Just don't watch any of my vids ...

We've got a few Ukes also. I had a Lana Tattoo bass, but the intonation issues were severe. I have an Oscar Schmit Baritone I like. But my Mahogany U-Bass is my favorite! Other ukes are my wife's.

Well Hey Rick! Long time no see.
Palagic was fun last night. I really needed to get out and a Uke Jam was the ticket! Couple of beers didn't hurt.

Welcome to the forums, Dennis! (Welcome to the wife too!)
