Stop thief

This is the thief that is keeps taking the fish from my pond. Actually she has an accomplice, an osprey, which I haven't been able to get pics of.
Actually, its fun to go out and re-fish the pond from time to time.

I have a koi pond, and have also had a great blue heron stop by, luckily when we were home, so we scared him away. Our pond is 4' deep, and fish are skittish, so no victims yet.

This is bass and blue gill. Wife had some Koi in it, but one year it rained so the entire yard was about 2 ' underwater and they swam way. Unfortunately probably ended up being left high and dry.

If I was able to have a pond, and heron and osprey dropped by on a regular basis for a meal, I'd happily keep restocking the pond.

I'd also wire screen a portion of it in, to keep the other critters - like the raccoons- out.

But that's a long time ago, and a lottery far, far away from here...
