I wasn’t in the market to buy a Koaloha during my trip to Hawaii. I was actually doing a custom build with another “K” brand whom I met earlier this week. I was doing a factory tour at Koaloha when I saw this gem. Had to have it. Pops was there and he signed it and played it for us too! What an honor.

Congratulations on a beautiful instrument. It must have been just wonderful to have Pop's play it then sign it, a special ukulele for sure

Congratulations on your beautiful Pineapple Sunday! My wife and I were at KoAloha yesterday. Not only do they make IMHO the finest instruments in the world, but they are the most gracious, kind, Aloha Spirit filled folks I have ever met. I am, and will always be, KoAloha for life! I am looking forward to helping out at their booth at the Ukulele Festival of Hawaii on Sunday. Aloha!

According to HMS they just started making them again. Love the debossed diamond grid pattern to imitate the pineapple.
Who is Pops? (I know I should know, but I don't.)
Really cool instrument.

Congratulations on your Pineapple Sunday, having Pops KoAloha play and sign your ukulele was an honor in my estimation!

I have a Pineapple Sunday I bought directly from MusicguyMike in 2009; it will always be in my collection.

By the way the Pineapple Sunday ukes on HMS sold very rapidly.

Congratulations once more you have a real beauty of a uke there !!!

Really cool instrument.

I don't know about new Sundays, but Pops said they have some prototypes that they will be selling.

Alvin Okami started KoAloha and is known as Pops KoAloha.

Brand new to the site, what is HMS? And do you have a link to the pineapple Sunday?

Thank you

Congrats! What an unusual shape, it's way prettier than most pineapple ukes.
