Here is a video of a tune that has become a staple of western swing bands. The 32 bar chord progression has been recorded by Louis Armstrong and other jazz greats. The early western swing group Milton Brown & his Musical Brownies recorded this in 1935. I am using my koa bodied National Reso-Phonic uke on this and my buddy Ken West is playing back up guitar on my Martin 000-18 guitar. This is just a fun song to play and I made up the phony "Chinese music" intro. We did a much tighter studio version with stand up bass on my "Sugar Moon" CD. Here is a shameless plug where you can hear that track on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora and CD Baby. Hope you like it the video.
