Here is a cool uke festival coming up on September 7, 8 and 9 in central Oregon. This is their 7th ukulele festival and it is held in the scenic Willamette National Forest 150 miles south of Portland OR.
The performers include James Clem, Richard Colombo, Laurie Linn, Carl Ventis, Steve Yant, Arden Fujiwara & Scott Hitchings. This festival is not huge like others (so far 100 people have signed up) and that makes it more intimate with smaller manageable class sizes. Workshops, jamming, open mics and concerts. Lots of fun in this small town surrounded by the forest with rivers and lots of pine trees. Check out their website for more info.
