I was fortunate to be able to visit Tony’s shop and try this gorgeous new Tenor Uke. Italian spruce and Brazilian Rosewood, abalone inlays.
It plays and sounds as good as it looks!A643571C-061E-4966-94B2-7FA06C0BDDD9.jpgC91BC119-6D83-4C7D-BC2D-A735E01F9D7F.jpgDC2F08B2-A1B2-4F1C-B7CC-36B9E3E3B5E4.jpg
That’s Tony.

Tony has been making instruments for about 40 years! He even is mentioned in Jim Beloff’s book “The Ukulele, a Visual History”
There are many fine luthiers. here in Santa Cruz, and after visiting Tony, I went to Kenny Hill to check out his latest work!

I also have a 2002 Spruce/Koa from him!
It must have been a very good year!
