Hi all,

I’m trying to put together a single guitar/vocal version of ‘Do You Want To Know A Secret’ by The Beatles.

In most of the versions I’ve seen they fade out at the end, but that’s not really feasible in my case.

I HAVE seen it done once or twice over the years where they finished on one strum of a typical Beatle-esque ‘discord’ but I can’t work our what it is. Can anyone advise please?

The way I play it starts: Em, Am, G, F, then into the first verse using E, G#m, etc.

I’d be grateful for any help.

Hmmmm. All food for thought, thank you. I'll try them out when I get back to my guitars.

The nearest I could find this morning was to just finish on an E6/B and let it ring until fade.
It didn't sound TOO bad, but I like your suggestions so will try them later.

Thanks, ubulele

Hi again ubulele.
Thanks again for all the input. I've done some further research and running through this evening and found that ending on a E6/B chord is apparently what they used to do, and as it's an easy chord to finger, that'll work for me! lol
