    Default Funky Frets Uke Fest

Funky Frets is the best uke fest I have attended, probably because I was there from beginning to end, Friday - Sunday. It's a five hour drive, so I wanted to make the most of it.

It's coming up again October 5 -7. It's run by the family that operates the Funky Frets music store in Boyertown, PA.

Too many ukes, but I can't stop buying!

Looking forward to meeting you all. I'll be there, along with several fellow members of the Baltimore Ukulele Club. It'll be my first FFUF, although I've spent time with Kelly and Curt at other festivals/workshops. Super-nice people.

Yes! Had a fabulous time last year. I, too, have a long drive (6 hours), but it was very well worth it and I've already registered for this year (Del Rey, omg!). You truly feel like you're with a bunch of family while you're there. Now, to find child care for my three year old.... Lol.

Only a few more days! Safe travels, all. Now.... which uke to take?

It would be hard not to enjoy it. Be sure to stay for the train ride on Sunday. I'm packed and ready to go, but I still haven't decided what two ukes to bring.
