Hello guys,
I'm searching for a new ukulele. Now I play on soprano but I think about changing it to tenor. Unfortunately my budget isn't big... (the next problem is that in my country many of nice ukuleles are not avaible) I found two interesting ukes: Alvarez RU26T and Kala MK-T. Do you have any experience with these two and can give your opinion about them? I would be really thankful :)

You can't go wrong with a Kala.
Alvarez seems like a me too guitar company selling ukes....

I too would choose the Kala over the Alvarez. Although Alvarez is a rather well-recognized (for good or bad, I don't know) guitar maker, their ukuleles...mm... not so much. If I was in your position, I'd be looking for reliability over all other considerations. That's what you get with Kala. Also, the Alvarez top is listed as "spruce". This raises the cost of the instrument but is still a laminate. Although laminates are not a bad thing (it is after all what your looking for) they just charge you more for the spruce veneer when it offers no benefit whatsoever over the mahogany veneer. Good luck to you.
