Hi, everybody. I bought my first ukulele (Harmony, $8.50) in 1958 but it was a couple years before I got the hang of it. My parents bought me a baritone uke in 1962, and later I played guitar and tenor banjo too.
Because of an injury to my left arm, I haven't played any fretted instruments in nearly 20 years, but recently I got out a soprano uke a friend gave me about 10 years ago and found I could play it. It has renewed my interest in the instrument and ukulele playing in general.
And the really weird thing is, my calluses came right back.
I hope to learn much from forum members.
