Tonight I restrung my economy Kmise tenor with Aguila's dgbe Nygut strings.
This is a reentrant tuning with the forth sting a high d.
Otherwise similar to a baritone tuning.
The lowest tone string, number 3, the g string is not wound on my set but looks to be a red plastic.
Initial impressions;
The strings have the typical Nygut feel, which I like.
They are somewhat thick.
A little on the pricey side at $10 from Amazon.
The sound is amazing. Deep and resinous, it makes my ukulele sing.
Lower tension, much less then the C tuning set of D'addario strings that it came with.
I'll see if I can't put up a youtube vide of me playing and singing latter.
Overall, I really like them. Like my baritone ukulele it is easier for me to sing with.
