"Slotted headstocks" ... "will give understated look of elegance"?!!
Overstated elegance. It could be misbalance: let's imagine extreme. Super beautiful headstock with extremely nice artwork, shining as diamonds. Still "understated"?
I prefer simplicity.
I like Ebony (simplicity).
I'd buy this, but I am unsure its' sound can compete with 5x cheaper Kala Bearclaw Spruce & Rosewood, or for example Enya S1 (also spruce) or Sinye (spruce too). But I am so hungry
and 38 millimetre nut width is main selling point for me. Interestingly this "custom" model can be ordered from mass-stores such as BHPhotoVideo. Photos on Canadian websites of this 'custom' & 'elite' model are not the same as photos on TheUkuleleSite.com (no binding; it is not Ebony, instead it is rosewood-like).
Just my personal viewpoint. But Ukulele on pictures looks super beautiful
