Just finished this very plain tenor ukulele that I made from recycled house deck redwood and miscellaneous left over unused parts from past shop projects. Redwood top, back, and sides. I never get to do anything without binding, inlay, or a complicated lacquer finish, so this was a fun project. I made it for our annual Big Island Ukulele Guild show that starts today and runs through the end of October.

This gives me a whole new out look on some old decking I have in the back yard. Also I'm curious about the neck is there some carbon fiber set into it?
