sounds like a loose pully or something like that

That was my first guess. It should be an easy repair for a motor shop.

I think it is the drum bearing given the frequency of the rubbing sound. The motor spins much faster. I just replaced the bearing in my belt sander, sounds similar.

I get very nervous when a new 'sound' appears in the workshop. It's usual a bearing or some such 'rotating' part.
