BLACK FRIDAY SALE!

I'm offering this Mini M for $140 shipped to U.S.

This is undoubtedly the best value for a baritone scaled 6-string available today. But my preference is for slightly shorter, slightly narrower specs in this category, so I can let this one go.

Pics below, and here are a couple of posts with videos with it:

https://forum.ukuleleunderground.co...aritone-Guilele-Comparison-Cordoba-vs-C1M-1-4

Quick Specs:
20" scale
50mm nut width
Solid spruce top
Mahogany (presumably laminate) back and sides
Padded gig bag - Cordoba branded - very nice

Very good to excellent condition overall

Currently strung in reentrant tuning with Southcoast strings. They are actually in "f# to f#" but I think you could tune up to Terz ("g to g") if you wanted. Either way, don't worry - your guitar chord shapes work just fine. :) Of course there are many string options available if that isn't your cup of tea, but hey, try it, you might like it!

Hey Jim- You say that you prefer shorter, narrower specs- what do you own that has that?

I think I've mentioned them in another thread. The Cordoba C1m 1/4 size guitar is 19" scale with a 1-3/4" nut (44.5mm). I also have a custom from Jonathan Dale (Jupiter Ukuleles) - also 19" scale with a tad wider, probably closer to 47mm.

I'm also thinking about getting a 17" something - but not decided yet.

If you wanted to try the C1m, I could sell you that for the same price. Except for the kiddie guitar I showed you, that's the narrowest production guilele I've seen.

Jim- Online, it says that the nut width for the C1m is 1.85”, or 47mm. Is yours an older version? New price with shipping is $139. I don’t think I’d want a bigger body than the mini m (baritone size), but the nut is wider on that one.

Make sure you're looking at the specs for the 1/4 size as there is a 1/2 size and 3/4 size C1m versions:
https://www.cordobaguitars.com/guitars/c1m-14/
Nut Width 45mm (1 3/4")
Scale Length 480mm (18 7/8")

You're right about the price. I forgot. It is excellent condition still and does have little used "G to G" Thomastik Infeld strings. Let's say $120 shipped then.

Here's a side-by-side with the Mini. The C1M is a little bigger.

It was the 1/4 I was looking yet, on the Sweetwater site. They must have the specs wrong.
I would take that one of yours, but I don’t want to body of it to be that big. But thanks for offering!

Bump - $140 for the Mini or $120 for the C1M shipped. Both are "like new" condition and either would make a great Christmas present.

Bump again. I don't think I can go lower on the prices. Both are great deals to try out guilele. They need to move so I have space to try out more guileles. :p

Hi Jim,

On the Cordoba site, there's a disclaimer that reads
"Due to ongoing product development efforts, specifications are subject to change without notice."

Were the specs you gave in https://youtu.be/OBD3AelULLE copy/pasted from published specs?
If so, when you get a chance, for both the Cordobas you're selling, can you verify the following measurements:
- width at nut
- total length from tip of headstock to bottom of lower bout

Thanks!

I'm not where I can get measurements right now, but I do know the nut widths and scale length specs were accurate. Mini is 50mm nut and just over 20" scale . The C1m is 1.75" nut and just under 19" scale. So if the spec sheet you are looking at has those, I think you could trust the other specs listed.

Hi, Jim -
Couple of questions on the C1 1/4:

Side dot markers?

Gig bag?

Thanks!

Jerry

Thanks, Jim. I've got some stuff for sale, which must go before I can spend any dough. I am hopeful that happens soon. If it does, I will PM you.

Jerry

I think I was asking for numbers due to conflating the two smaller (total length) models Cordoba makes. Also, it doesn't help that HMS has the word "Guilele"in the title of their Cordoba Mini pages.
Numbers from Cordoba (& a few others) I jotted down

EDIT to ADD: since all my UU pic posts come out too small, link to my Kiku notes
