Hi everyone, I've played bass for over 40 years and just decided to try a u-bass. My wife and I write and play folk-style music and I wanted to get a more upright bass sound. I've been playing a Taylor GS Mini bass for the past year but just bought an Ortega Lizzy u-bass and I'm really enjoying it. My wife also plays guitar, we both play the Seagull Merlin and cigar box guitars, and she is teaching herself cello and violin. Looking forward to exploring the world of ukes even though I realize the u-bass is a bit of a different animal.
