Bought my third uke today (first one I put more than $100 into). And that got me to decide to join the forum and now I'm here. Been learning off and on for a couple years, but only started to get more serious about it earlier this year.

Where in Northern CA? I'm in Oakland, and there's the Oakland Uke Jam and some of their Boot Camps if you're in the area. I think the jam group is about done for the season because they play outside in Joaquin Miller Park. Beautiful setting in the trees up there.
