This is great; some picking, some strumming.

How does he DO it?

I don't mean technique. . . but just "where did he get the music from"?

To me this seems just like a chord arpeggio extremely well played. His fretting is accurate and his finger-style is virtually perfect ... put bluntly, an awful lot of practice!

Start with a basic C, F, G7 chord sequence and fingerpick it four to the bar until you never make any mistakes ever ... then develop the chord sequence to include an Am and a couple of other "fancy" chords, then practice syncopating it all ;)

YMMV :music:

There's nothing complicated about the music that I can hear or see.

Its a few basic chords with some 'Technique" applied to them to make it a song.

I think kypfer is right. I worked out a similar arrangement for Sweet Pea by Amos Lee, and it's super fun to play. But I started with the syncopation instead of leaving it to last. I'd have been bored practicing the other way.

To answer your specific question on music, you'll need to contact him to find out. But if you want to know about being able to learn just from tab, the correct way to write tab is to include the actual corresponding notes on a staff with timing for the piece and each note as a whole, half, eight, etc.

Dominator has a lot of tab and from what I have seen, he includes the actual notes on a staff.

Being able to read/understand music might be helpful.

I think I'm reading the question differently than others. If you gave 10 of us the same tab to play, (and we were all able to play at the same level in terms of technique and hitting the right notes), there would still be a difference in the music played. It's about more than just hitting the right notes at the right time, and hitting them cleanly.

Was that was OP meant?
