First uke

I've been lurking here for a while and thought I'd post my first results.

It's an all black walnut soprano with an Osage orange fret board, basically following the Grellier plans.

I went a bit too thin on the top and it had a very banjo like sound when strummed harder, so I inserted a single fan brace (using magnets) and it made a big improvement...it was a good learning experience.

The recipient took a couple nice photos but no close ups

Looks good! The best way to get nice pictures is to post them on Google Photos or another site like that. then you just post a link to it, and we can fill the screen with the picture.

That is a beautiful ukulele!
