This third lecture is really superficial because there is so much out there on bandsaw set-up that is better filmed and more informative than I could be. However I do show you how to get maximum yield resawing so gorgeous black limba. Interesting bit about 23 minutes in and yes, this billet is 10/4 thick so my fingers are well away from the blade. And I do advise YOU to use a push-stick.... just sayin'.

Total yield - 12 slices, 4 four-piece sets.

Yep, it was one of those no-brainer purchases. It does what it says on the tin...

It was actually 16 slices, 4 piece top and backs. Added 8 slice from a matching billet for the sides. So twow2 piece front and back, 6 piece sets total. At least, I think I know what I am talking bout.... Confusing I know but I'm tired.

Great video Pete. What's the width, gauge and TPI on your big saw blade? I never thought of using my thickness planer after each cut. I can see that'll make a big difference.

I shied away from doing resawing due to the blade wondering. Now I know why and how to fix that.
