Nice tune for beginner

There are just a ton of C,F,G or G7 songs out there. Heck, there's a ton of C,G7 songs. Half the kid's songs out there you can play C,G7. If you search "Songs Ukulele Chords" they will pop up. A lot of ukulele clubs have their songbooks on line. Here's that San Jose Ukulele Club's book. http://www.sanjoseukeclub.org/ . Also Choirguy has a bunch of them on his thread. https://forum.ukuleleunderground.com/showthread.php?133580-Video-Play-Alongs You just have to go through them all and find the ones that are within your abilities. "Put the Lime in the Coconut", the whole song is C7. If someone asks me to show them how to play the ukulele, I teach them "Put the Lime in The Coconut." They can learn to play it in a minute. Love that song.

I started with a finger style version of Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSFp_F050Uc) and haven't looked back. Moved on to some other stuff that just sounded cool to me. I'd hear something in the car and look it up on uke tabs up when I got home. Check out the Ukulele Teacher on Youtube...he has an app as well. He has a nice set of tutorials...some good tunes. But really...keeping your interest is key and I find I'm more likely to learn something if it's a tune I have fondness for.

Good luck.

I'm very much a beginner looking for tunes not too complex.
Found this recently, very few chords but still very nice. With some very effective tips too.

No probs bunnyf really glad you enjoyed it. At first I thought it would be too difficult for me but I've made good progress.
Just love this version wth his intro, all very effective. And his ukulele is beautiful eh.
I know there is a ton of stuff out there but like Boomershakalaka says it's finding tunes one has a liking for.

By the way what do you think the second up strum is? Looks More like he's only catching the ' E ' string to me.
Be interested what others think.
