NUD Recording King Banjo Uke

I saw one of these in a store about a month ago, and it stuck in my mind. I started looking them up online, and I finally ordered one.

It's rather small, with a 6" head and a hefty neck. It has the typical banjo uke sound. Because of the small size, I'm going to attach a strap. It will be perfect for when I want something small and tough.

One of the members of my jam group has one of these, and it's pretty darn loud. Guess it must be the tone of the 6" head, but it sure seems to "punch above it's weight", and cut through to be heard. At our jams we always jokingly say "Don't worry if you make a mistake, as no one will hear it - unless you're playing a banjolele!"

Yes - a definite drawback to a banjolele. I've learned how to play softly.
