Hello zu everybody,
I am from Germany and it is hard to find here Informations about the old Martin and Gibson Ukuleles.
I already have a koa wood Kumalae Uke from the 1920s. I Fell in Love with these old Instruments.
I war to buy such an old Martin or Gibson Uke.
I war to know which production years are the best? The old "the Gibson" Models or the ones from the 1950s/60s? What are quality differenzes?
The same with Martin Ukes. What about the quality between the early 1920-1940s years vs the later 1950-60s Models.?
Of course every model is individual, but maybe you can give some advice to me.
Can you give a good address where to buy? Here in germany There are not really some to buy. I have 200-1000$ for it.
